Buskirk-Mary Ann Vellucci, 92, of Buskirk, passed away peacefully Wednesday October 11, 2017 at her residence with her family by her side.

Mary was born in Yonkers on January 11, 1925 and was the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Calvelli) Catania.

Mary was educated in Yonkers and worked at Genung’s Dept. Store in sales.  She also worked at Cameo Curtains and retired from National Fiberglass Co as a bookkeeper until she retired.

Mary and her husband moved to Buskirk to be closer to their family and were members of St. Patrick’s Church in Cambridge.

Mary is survived by her husband of 70 years, Anthony Vellucci; her son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence & Carol Vellucci of Buskirk; grandchildren, Anthony (Kimberly) Vellucci, Lawrence (Janine) Vellucci, Jr. & David (Stephanie) Vellucci; great grandchildren, Alexander & Alyssa Vellucci, Laura & Victoria Vellucci & Nicholas, Abigail & Emily Vellucci; a cousin, Rosetta Ricapito of Yonkers and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be 6-8 pm on Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Church, 17 South Park St., Cambridge with The Very Rev. Thomas Zelker officiating.  Interment will follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
