Edward E. Holcomb

Cambridge  Edward E. Holcomb, 82, formerly of Plains Road, died peacefully at Indian River Nursing Home, where he had resided for nearly a year.

Born Tuesday, July 5, 1927 in Bennington, Vermont, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Evylene (Langlois) Holcomb.

He received his education in Cambridge and lived there most of his life.

Eddie liked to watch television and listen to the radio.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Rose Holcomb and  his sister, Barbara Wright, all of Cambridge; two aunts, Virginia Peters and Vivian La Bombard ; nephews, Randy Wright and Roger, John and Andrew Holcomb; niece Tammy Smith and several cousins.

Services were private with burial at Woodlands Cemetery, Cambridge.
